What are my qualifications to babysit?

I study education and regularly intern and student teach for students grades K-12. I have taught a wide variety of subjects including music, math, language arts, technology, health, and physical education in person and virtually. I am knowledgeable in child development, literature, and behavior. I am able to help kids with their homework. I am Heartsaver certified in CPR, AED, first aid, and overdose response for all ages. I have a clean driving record and legal history. I have experience caring for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities such as autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety, allergies, asthma, BFRB's, neurological disorders, dysautonomia, and dietary restrictions. I can follow a recipe and cook safely. I have supervised groups of up to 10 children at once in a variety of environments in summer camps.

What are other responsibilities I can take on?

• light cleaning such as laundry, dishes, and dusting

• drive children to school, sports practice, parks, etc. My car can fit 4 passengers.

• pet care

What are my pay rates?

For one child age 5 or older, I charge $16.00/hour. For every additional child age 5 or older, I charge $1 more. For any children under the age of 5, I charge an additional $2. 

For example, babysitting for a 2 year old, 5 year old, and 12 year old would be $19.00/hour. Babysitting for a 3 year old would be $18.00/hour.

Additional pay will be discussed for certain situations such as driving kids to places, staying with children overnight, and pet care if necessary.
